We are looking for a Claims Executive to join our Marine Claims team in Oslo.

Providing first class claims service is central to what we do, and the Marine Claims team deal with all types of Hull & Machinery claims.

A Claims Executive is an operational position where you will be responsible for handling insurance claims.

Key responsibilities:

• Handling incoming Hull & Machinery and Loss of Hire claims,
• Appointing and following up surveyors, lawyers etc.,
• Assisting and advising clients on repair options
• Extensive client/broker contact.
• Provide advice to our Members and Clients within all aspects of Marine claims.

Who are you;

• Preferably experience from a marine technical, nautical, legal or other relevant shipping related background.
• Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to perform in and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Able to analyze, structure and organize tasks and work independently.
• Take active part in negotiations and claims resolutions.
• Is highly motivated to learn as well as share knowledge.
• Solution and result-oriented mindset.
• Proficient written and spoken English.

Experience with handling Hull & Machinery, or other relevant experience might be considered as an advantage
