About The Job

As a Software Engineering Intern in the FW team, you will support the team with software and firmware development for the SimpleLink wireless connectivity devices. This would include specifying, designing, and implementing low level control and runtime environment software, device drivers, test software, and associated tools and scripts for building, testing, and running the software.

Past Intern Projects In The FW Team Include
  • Integration of LLVM-based dynamic code coverage tooling into automated test system
  • PDM audio stream sampling and conversion to PCM using the device’s Sensor Controller peripheral
  • Asymmetric cryptographic key exchange and secure communication example

Minimum Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Cybernetics or related field
  • Familiarity with C programming
  • Familiarity with software engineering processes and the full software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with assembly language programming
  • Familiarity handling lab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Ability to build strong, influential relationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
