To achieve this, we will support you with an inclusive workplace in which diverse talents can thrive, engage, and contribute to better business results.Inviting you to our team:The ES&S – Equipment, Supply & Services - Team is a diverse and multicultural team with 8 team members located in Norway, Belgium, Paris & in the and US!Our team is responsible for managing and coordinating all purchasing related activities respecting Nexans purchasing procedures for four factories and our head offices in Oslo.As part of the Nexans Purchasing Team, and in addition of your daily contacts with your stakeholders from the factory, you will also have regular contacts with your purchasing colleagues from more than 70 countries in the world and the Group purchasing team located in Paris.Workplace is our Halden plant with the possibility to work from Oslo and you will be reporting to the Site Purchasing Manager.We need bright minds to:
  • Be the leader of the plant competitiveness program and bring added value being able to think out of the box & propose new ways of doing things when it is relevant,
  • Establish the purchasing savings budget to reach the factory & the BG savings target,
  • Act as a project manager to coordinate the execution and deployment of purchasing action plans with your stakeholders,
  • Support the definition of the category strategy / Business Units, in line with the vision of the group, their Business Unit, and ensure the alignment of group practices / BU / sites
  • Fully implement the purchase process and ensure that it is applied to team level,
  • Be responsible for the delivery according to the KPIs of the team,
  • Promote good collaboration within the team and across the entire purchasing organization.
Your starting point when joining Nexans:Professional skills, qualifications, and experience:
  • Master degree in Engineering , Business or Supply Chain or extensive purchasing experience
  • Fluent in English – oral and written
