The positionBy joining our team in Communication you will have the opportunity to-

  • Provide internal and external communications to support positioning of Equinor’s business and operations on the Norwegian continental shelf (with focus in the sustainability and low carbon solution space).
  • Work closely with the business to develop compelling storytelling content for key activities and milestones on the Norwegian continental shelf.
  • Develop content to support increased engagement on various communication channels, including internal articles, website content, social media content and video clips.
  • Provide support for the planning and execution of high-profile conferences and events.
  • Work with key stakeholders at each of Equinor’s locations in Norway to deliver on our commitments and demonstrate dedication in the regions in which we operate.
  • Work with the wider communication team to create and plan external communication strategies and campaigns to enhance the Company’s profile.
  • Take part in multidisciplinary teams to look for new and better ways of communicating on traditional and new businesses and important energy topics.

  • 7-10 years of experience within the field of communications.
  • University degree at Master’s level in relevant field of communication, public affairs or in the low carbon solution space.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, including storytelling capabilities, with an ability to demonstrate strategic use of different communication channels/formats.
  • Someone flexible and able to work well as a team member in a fast moving and sometime high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the energy sector, particularly the low carbon solution / hydrogen industry, would be desirable but not essential.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English.
