Passenger Service Manager
As our Passenger Service Manager, you’re responsible for the passenger experience before our passengers step on board the MS Romantika. The role of our Passenger Service Manager has a lot of variety thanks to the fact that your team of almost 20 colleagues both take care of pre-trip questions from our (potential) passengers via phone and e-mail and also take care of the check-in at departures.
Who are we?
We are an international, ambitious, and fast-growing cruise ferry company. At the moment we are operating between Germany (Cuxhaven/Emden) and Norway (Kristiansand). The MS Romantika is a high-quality ship with a maximum capacity of 2,500 passengers and a diverse range of facilities on board, including restaurants, bars, a theatre, and a casino. Everything we do, we do with decisiveness, responsibility, respect, and dedication.

What are you going to do?
Your responsibilities are:
- Point of contact for other departments
- Training the staff and coordinating all tasks together with the team leaders
- Optimizing the passenger experience by identifying and solving problems
- Keep the critical core processes running at required service levels and secure
- Reviewing all processes and setting up new procedures
- Report directly to COO
- Ambitious and driven to get things done and go the extra mile
- You enjoy the mix of helping others to grow while also being an active member of the team
Job Requirements
We would like to get in touch with candidates who recognize themselves in the below profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, (International) Hotel Management, or a similar discipline
- 5+ years of experience in managing a team
- Hospitality is running through your veins
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) required, speaking Dutch, German, and/or Norwegian is an advantage
- Proven ability to keep an overview and to be able to prioritize
- Prepared to travel between Netherlands and Norway regularly
- Result-driven, proactive, hands-on mentality
- Available for 36-40 hours per week
- Flexible working days, also during the weekend and holidays
