The positionBy joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to-
- Lead and develop a team of human-centred designers, IT professionals and data scientists located across US, UK and Norway. As Leader of a competence center within the Design, Software and Data Science unit we want you to be an integral part of one of the largest transformation initiatives this company has ever seen.
- Have a specific focus to shape and further develop our human-centred design capabilities and influence the utilisation of design capabilities as part of digital initiatives.
- Ensure long-term competence development reflecting both business demand and new technologies and drive networking to leverage internal technical expertise and key external parties.
- Contribute to creation and start-up of strong cross-functional teams with solid team dynamics and optimized work environment in close collaboration with delivery entities across the company
- Drive continuous improvement to strengthen the unit’s performance and ensure additional capabilities and capacity to prioritized projects through the external market and optimising sourcing configurations.

- Master’s degree, or higher, within computer science, or other relevant disciplines like design, philosophy, sociology, psychology, data science or engineering. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications.
- Experience from leadership positions in larger organisations - you have the ability to navigate and collaborate in a large corporate environment.
- A collaborative mindset - you are unafraid to offer suggestions, seek other perspectives, and to collaborate with a diverse group to efficiently execute cross-functional initiatives in a matrix organization.
- Solid track record - you have successfully managed people and teams across multiple locations and cultures
- Experience working with human centric design, software development, and software development projects
- The ability to network both internally and externally is essential to be successful in this role.
