The position
The position will include a wide range of activities related to Electrical Power Engineering in one of our business areas-
- Contribute to Equinor’s transition to a broad energy company by designing electrical power systems and perform system analysis for renewable as well as oil and gas projects.
- Follow up and guide contractors and suppliers during feasibility studies, engineering, fabrication, testing, construction and start-up.
- Provide technical support and integrity tasks to operation, maintenance, and modifications of our offshore and onshore plants in Norway and abroad.
- Participate in technology development and research programs within the discipline.
- Contribute to digitalisation of electrical power systems.
- Contribute to internal and external improvement activities.

- Master’s degree or PhD with strong academic record within Electrical Power Engineering .
- No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience.
- Fluent in English and preferably a second working language.
- Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage.
- An awareness of risk and a commitment to safety for yourself and those around you.
- Good communication skills and the ability to facilitate collaboration, influence stakeholders, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture.
- The flexibility to adapt to change, embrace new technology, and perform in a digitally enabled environment.
- Demonstrating a curious mind and the ability to problem-solve, innovate, and identify new ways of delivering against our objectives.
