The technical department in Subsea & Land Business Group has the overall system and product responsibility and is the ultimate technical authority in the business group. The technical department consists of and has the responsibility for R&D, Tender Engineering, Material Engineering, Product & System Management, as well as advanced analysis. We are strengthening the team in Product & System Department and are looking for a candidate that are ready to electrify the future.

Discipline Engineer Standards


This position has two roles:

PLM Domain Manager – Technical Section
  • Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of Standards Management governing processes and procedures, and for the implementation in the Nexans Management system
  • Promote continuous improvement of standards and act as contact point for change requests and lessons learned relevant for standards in Teamcenter Standards Project
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Classification hierarchy in Teamcenter
  • Support end user with issues related to standards management in Teamcenter
  • Contribute to further development and improvement of the Teamcenter tool in order to secure good contribution to the business
  • Facilitate lessons learned / evaluation of the Teamcenter tool vs working processes within own area
Discipline Engineer Mechanical Accessories
  • Support the discipline responsible(s)
  • Contribute in establishing and maintaining standard documents within the relevant area.
  • (Engineering Handbooks, standard documentation and drawings, automation of engineering process )
  • Support projects and tender work as technical expert and take part in project and tender meetings if required
  • Perform DIC / IDC on relevant technical documents at tender and project stage
  • Contribute to increasing the divisions competence level by participating in external seminar/workshops etc and do/develop relevant internal training course
Your Qualifications And Skills
  • BSc / MSc Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Experience from design of mechanical accessories
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter as a tool in the engineering process
  • Good English knowledge – written and oral
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to independently and systematically finalize tasks
