Job Description

Mammoet is seeking a dynamic and results driven individual to help manage our Norwegian organization. The Branch Manager will be a key member of the Management Team in Norway and is responsible for ensuring that operations within Norway are executed according to our business and growth strategy. This will be achieved through collaboration, influence and relationship building with employees, as well as the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of our services.

The successful candidate will have an outgoing, sales and service focused personality with the ability to effectively manage teams of people. Thorough experience in an international organization is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills, professionalism and excellent communication skills are some of the key traits we are looking for. Our environment is fast paced and requires people to be flexible and have a passion for their work.

You will support our sales planning and business development activities and play an active role in coaching and mentoring staff, managing performance and engaging with customers on a regular basis. You will have a focus on sales and defining opportunities to maximize our market share. Engaging key customers at a senior level understanding their operations, maintenance and procurement strategies, so that the Norwegian team can be better aligned with our customers.

Safety is a primary focus in Mammoet. You will be supporting our Health, Safety, & Environment Quality (SHE-Q) program and the related engagement activities with our team to ensure we lead with a safety-first priority in everything we do. Observe all staff in safety sensitive situations and promote best practices and improvement opportunities.

You will be located in Drammen.

Reports to

You will report to the Managing Director of Scandinavia and with time, you will represent Mammoet Norway in the Scandinavian management team.

Education & Experience
  • Experience from a similar industry is an advantage
  • A relevant higher education, equivalent of a bachelors or higher degree
  • At least 5 years of management experience, preferably from a similar industry
  • Experience coping with a dynamic and complex work environment
  • Fluent in both English and Norwegian
